The Cape Town District youth started 2010 with sand, sea and sunshine. Due to great effort in making 2010 the year of the youth, everyone made sure that we got a head start on activites.
Delft Bishop Area Weekend Trip

They will be Staying at a Lodge, completely reserved for the youth. Thats right yes, only the youth will be staying there for that weekend. A fun, exciting and action packed activity list has been planned: from braais & karaokes with the Mossel Bay youth 2 a "wild life safari" and everything from beach sports days 2 a local community project in between. On 24 September 2009, the Kensington Bishop area hosted their first ever IPL cricket tournament, which was held at the Goodwood Cricket Club, Cape Town.

Youth of Apostle Area 04, i.e. Bellville, Delft and Northern Cape Bishop Areas congregated at Lavistown congregation on Sunday morning 20/09/09, for a special youth service conducted by Apostle Marc Diedricks. The youth from the Northern Cape arrived already on Saturday the day before, and were put up at the homes of the local youth. On Sunday morning 20/09/09 a total of 1555 youth together with their spiritual leaders anxiously awaited the serving of their Apostle.


Giving back...

On Saturday 05-09, the Senior Youth of Kensington District as well as some youth and minsiters of the Khayelitsha 3 congregation visited the Baphumelele Waldorf Association Day-Care-Center and Workshop in Khayelitsha. This Center is home to over 150 children from toddlers to teenagers who are without homes and\or families.
